Description
Just about 300 meters from the famous Spanish Steps, right next to the fancy shops in Via del Corso, and in close proximity to the even more famous Trevi Fountain, is this classic and charming Holiday apartment. It has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, and situated on the 3rd floor of a 16th century building installed with elevator.
The apartment is ideal for a couple with a child. You enter the apartment in a small hallway from where you can access both the living room and the bedrooms. Pieces of antiques and modernist art are visible upon entrance.
The place is a mixture of classic and modern design. You’ll find traditional artworks and a sofa bed that could cater to two people in the living room, and a modern glass dining table nearby. Through the years, the original floor has visibly remained intact.
Next to the living room you will find the master bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed and a lounge chair. There is also a window that provides a scenic view of the streets below. The second bedroom is relatively smaller than the first and furnished with a French double bed (130 x 200 cm).
Back to the entrance hall you can access the small kitchenette. Equipped with the basics, it is good enough to make coffee or tea, or prepare breakfast and light meals. The kitchenette is not fancy but is decent and functional. The same can be said about the bathroom; not fancy but is comfortable and neat. In it you’ll find a tub and overhead shower. The black tiles also give the bathroom a retro touch.
The apartment is a corner unit with 8 large windows. While Lucina Street is not a very busy street, being in the very heart of Rome, some occasional but pleasant noise may reach the apartment. The apartment has one air conditioning unit, TV and internet. Overall, the apartment is a decent and comfortable place to stay right in the center of Rome.
With a good bar for breakfast downstairs, restaurants just outside, and a cinema just next door, this apartment is in a strategic central location. It is highly accessible and is woven intimately close to famous spots and landmarks accessible by just a couple of minutes walk.
