There are so many reasons to go to Florida. They don't call it the 'Sunshine State' for nothing! Here, the sun just seems to shine brighter, and the people are hotter than ever! Most especially in Miami. Possibly the reason for its prominence is because it attracts a diverse set of people for different reasons. For the older citizens of the lot, this is the best place to spend their retirement years, especially if they've lived in cold places all their lives. For the younger people, on the other hand, Miami is all about spring break and the wild parties. But the city is a lot more than that, and these neighborhoods prove it!

Aventura

If you want to stay in the high-class part of Miami, Aventura is the place to be! Here, it's all about two things: golfing and shopping. Though it's a collection of sleek high rises, what people usually love doing here is mostly going to the malls for the latest fashions or playing gold in the numerous luxurious courses found here. And when you want to take a break from both, a flurry of five-star restaurants and sophisticated spas await you!

Bal Harbour

What's a stay in Miami if your place doesn't even have a great view? You're in one of the best seaside cities in the world. You should be able to enjoy that every chance you get! So if you're looking for a place that has a magnificent view of the Atlantic Ocean, look no further than Bal Harbour. Your rented flat here—probably amongst the many luxury condominium towers—will most likely offer quite a sight, especially during sunrise and sunset!

Brickell

Why is Brickell referred to as the "Manhattan of the South?" Well, it's likely because it's both Miami's and the state's biggest financial district. In this famous party town, Brickell is the neighborhood where the big money is spent, moved around, circulated, what have you. Why do you think Miami has become quite the luxury destination? It's thanks to this area right here. Not to mention the fact that the lace also has its own branch of Saks Fifth Avenue! Now that's high class!

Coconut Grove

Fancy seeing a peacock in Miami? Go to Coconut Grove. Although don't call it that when asking locals where it is. Because here, they only just call it "The Grove." Another sophisticated part of Miami, this neighborhood boasts a beautiful mix of modern architecture and timeless structures, all Instagram-worthy in their own right. The latter adds to the historic appeal of the city, along with the beautifully preserved churches from past centuries.

Coral Gables

Another Maimi neighborhood that mixed the old with the new is Coral Gables. Appropriately named "The City Beautiful," this eye-feast of an area offers up Mediterranean-style architecture with a bustling urban vibe. See the trendy boutiques, novel coffee shops, and fine international cuisines that make up its Downtown area. And if you want to cool off for a bit, the iconic Venetian Pool will not only do the trick but will give you quite the interesting sights as well!

Downtown Miami

You've never been to Miami if you haven't even to Downtown Miami! And if you're one to embrace the city life, here is where you should stay. As with any other downtown area of major cities, Downtown Miami thrives with its cosmopolitan beat and stunning nightlife scene. It's arguably the city's party capital, lined up with bars and nightclubs—as well as parks!—that go wild once night falls. But if you're more into a laid-back vibe, the area's art scene also offers a relaxing distraction.

Little Havana

Miami has its own Latin flavor and it's most alive at Little Havana. Housing one of the biggest Cuban communities in the country, it's as if you stepped unto the Latin American country when you go here. Despite its controversial political history, the country does have quite a beautiful culture. And it's all on full display here! Think old-school cigar shops, artisanal cafes that serve rich Cuban coffee, and dance clubs that play the best reggae and reggaeton music!

South Beach

Itching to go back to the beach? You should probably stay at South Beach instead! This place is best for two kinds of people: party people and nature-lovers. The former will enjoy club-hopping amongst the many nightlife hotspots in the area, many of which are often visited by the biggest DJs in the world. Meanwhile, the latter will probably favor the numerous trails and wildlife parks here. But if there's one thing both of these will have in common, it's enjoying the beautiful white-sand beach!

Upper East Side

Talk about a walk down memory lane! What makes the Upper East Side of Miami so fascinating is that it looks like time stopped in the 70s. Mod architecture and pastel hues dominate this Instagram-worthy neighborhood, abundant in vintage charm and novel establishments. Staying here will probably feel like time-traveling, and you don't get surprised if you see a film crew shooting here. It's the perfect place to film a period piece!
