But don’t be put off by the crowds, the staff will do their best to find you a seat so you can settle in for the evening and start making your way through the menu. After all, part of how the Spanish drink wine is to enjoy your time with and around lively people. There is a tapas menu and the bar’s speciality are thin crisp breads loaded with interesting toppings. So you can come hungry.

This is the holy grail of Catalan wine with over 3,000 bottles available, largely from the local area. The modern, glass decor—very Instagrammable in of itself—feels like you’ve entered into some sort of wine lab and the staff are accordingly knowledgable. When you arrive you’re given a tablet to pick your wine from and there’s also a daily changing menu of about 50 wines by the glass. If you’re feeling peckish, there are a few food options, including an 8-course tasting menu. With wine pairing. Naturally.
