What's there to do in Paris? If you ask this to anyone living outside the city, they'd all mostly, probably, say the same thing: see the sights! You can fault them! For years, Paris has been seen and marketed as this collection of tourist attractions, each more magnificent and more historic than the next. However, if you as a Parisian the same question, they'd probably answer shopping, eating out, and even bowling! That's because they know more about the city than any other. And they know that even a less-popular place like that the 15th arrondissement has its many strong aces!

A Lively Shopping District

Shopping is practically a way of life here in Paris. Apart from the many designer shopping districts, there are a few places worth spending your money on. Here in the 15th arrondissement, there are two. The first is the Beaugrenelle Shopping Complex. A retail complex unlike any other, most of the well-known designer brands and high-street labels have set up shop here. And for those looking to lower their food costs, there's the open market on Rue Saint-Charles. From fresh produce to exotic spices, you're sure to fill up your fridge and pantry with just a visit or two to this marché!

Cool Parks A Plenty

You might say that parks are a dime a dozen in Paris. There are so many in the French capital that you'll probably feel like once you've seen one, you've seen them all. But wait until you see the ones in the 15th arrondissement! Parc Georges Brassens, for instance, you might see as a smaller (a lot smaller) version of New York's Central Park. It's that lively, that fun, that exciting, and that busy here. It's not as beautiful as the more famous parks, but it's definitely worth spending time in. As is Parc André Citroën, arguably the most modern-looking park in the city.

A Foodie-Central Arrondissement

Now, you already know that the 15th arrondissement has one of the best markets in Paris, right? And this isn't the only spot worth visiting if you're a foodie who's moved to the city. Of course, there are other spots worth visiting and, ultimately, worth tasting! The Grenelle Market, for instance, is another open market you can buy all sorts of delicious food in. And what is arguably the most prestigious culinary school in Paris, Le Cordon Bleu, is situated right smack in this arrondissement. If you're lucky, you might be able to taste what the students made here!

Underrated Attractions to Visit!

There's simply no end to so many underrated tourist spots to see in Paris. And here in the 15th arrondissement, there's some worth visiting! Not the least of which is Promenade de la Petite Ceinture, an unused railway line that operated back in the mid-1800s. There's something eerie yet fascinating about it. But why should places like this interest you, especially if you're planning to reside here? Well, when your friends and family from your home country come over, at least there are a few hidden tourist spots you can introduce them to! Imagine the praise you'll get!

Go Bowling!

Finally, when you're bored and nothing to do, why not go bowling? Bowling Front de Seine is perhaps one of the best bowling alleys in the city. Costing as low as €2.60, it's one of the most affordable fun things to do in this arrondissement. Living in Paris should just consist of coffee breaks in cafés or strolling in a park. You can still do normal fun stuff like bowling too. And what's even better about this particularly alley? They serve drinks! Colorful cocktails that are as tasty as they look! They alone should let you come back for more!

Out of all the arrondissements in Paris, you shouldn't be surprised if you'll have fun on the 15th the most. There are so many things worth seeing, worth exploring, worth shopping for, and worth experiencing in this part of the French capital!

What's also a good reason to move to the 15th arrondissement? The many luxury homes you can rent here! They'd be perfect for you!
